I’m a registered clinical counsellor and qualified mental health art therapist with seven years of experience working with diverse people and ages, both individually and in groups.

 

I’ve supported adults and older adults facing long-term mental health challenges and disabilities, veterans and their children, and children with learning and developmental disabilities, neurodiversity, and social, emotional, and developmental challenges.

I have a particular interest in play therapy, a specialised area that has deepened my understanding of working with children. I’ve completed postgraduate training in play therapy, am an associate member of the Australian Play Therapy Association (APTA), and engage in ongoing clinical supervision in this field and as a therapist.

 

I’m passionate about helping people build resilience and confidence through meaningful, positive, creative experiences.

Before training as a therapist, I worked in community and disability arts for 15 years, designing and facilitating group workshops, including expressive arts programs for children with disabilities and their siblings, adults facing disability and disadvantage, and mosaic workshops, both privately and in rural schools.

 

More recently, I’ve been working in private practice. I've developed art and well-being workshops for the general public and mindfulness-based art therapy child-parent groups via telehealth.

With a background in performance, writing, and visual arts alongside mental health training, I bring a creative and thoughtful approach to supporting people in enhancing their quality of life.

My focus is on meeting people where they are, encouraging curiosity, and providing a space where they feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their own path forward.
